The decline of Bangalore
T V R Shenoy writes about the deteriorating state of affairs in Bangalore on Rediff. He hopes that Karnataka does not follow Bihar's fortunes (Bihar was at one time, Shenoy says, one of the three best administered states in India. Before Laloo took over, of course).
If Singh and Gowda aren't finished before that (politically speaking of course), it might well happen to Karnataka.
