Ten little Pakis went to Kargil in '99...
One ate grass at Drass
And then there were nine.

Nine little Pakis went to Kabul to fight...
One went home in a container
And then there were eight...

Eight little Pakis planned nine-eleven...
One got sent to Guantanamo
And then there were seven...

Seven little Pakis got unkil to pay baksheesh...
One gave nukes to the Taliban
And then there were six...

Six little Pakis gave Unkil nuke grief...
But Unkil removed one guy's brief
And then there were five...

Five little Pakis tried to bum Mush...
One lit a fuse
And then four were alive...
That piece of shit Krishna has gone and increased sales tax again. Petrol prices are also about to go up. And for all this additional money that we fork out, we get fucked up roads and crumblink infrastructure. I guess since elections are round the corner people need money for campaigning :-(

Bangalore has some of the worst roads in the country and the worst traffic cops in the world. They might as well be non-existent for all the work that they do. People blatantly cross red lights and the cops just yawn. As a result Bangalore has the worst disciplined traffic in the world. Try doing this in Mumbai, the cops will have your arse or at least lots of your money!

There was a news article about a relative of ABV being thrown out of a train and dying. Tragic. ABV has ordered an inquiry. That got me thinking. If it was a common man being thrown out of a train and dying, he wouldn't give a damn. Wouldn't even know about it. Since its ABV's relative, all the hoo haa. Darling, yeh hai India.

Hard day at work! There was some excitement when India won the match against Zimbabwe, people were literally following it ball by ball on the web. I was using the Rediff web-site, complete with slow updates etc.

India finally signed the deal to buy Gorshkov. About time. Even if it comes somewhere around 2008, we will have a carrier after Viraat retires around 2010. The ADS from Cochin might get into the fleet somewhere around 2012 and without the Gorshkov, we wouldn't have a carrier to practise on.

Was walking around Ulsoor lake in the morning. Not as much fog today as on last friday. Once the fog lifts you can make out that the lake is still an unhealthy green, despite BDA's claims of cleaning the lake. One end of the lake "complex" (not the actual lake itself) near the gurudwara is still filthy with lots of garbage and refuse (mostly ugly plastic bottles). I feel sorry for the "thambis" (MEG jawans) who have to train there, its not a pleasant place.
Man! There is so much work at the office, that I'm just doing this like a robot. Without thinking much, just intent on getting things out the door. Not a nice way to operate.
