Dharam Singh escaped being bashed up by irate residents of some locality he visited some time back. He had gone there to check on the damage caused to the "infrastructure" at that place by recent heavy rains. The residents blocked his path and almost beat him up and the police had to intervene to disperse the crowd. Too bad he escaped, he deserved being thrashed for failing to do anything about Bangalore's dismal infrastructure. On second thoughts, he wouldn't have felt a thing if a few blows had landed on him, having enough padding under that thick skin to shield him!
