Release Tulku Tenzin Delek

There was a silent sit-in protest by some Tibetans at Cubbon Park. They were protesting against the arrest, no doubt on trumped up charges, and death penalty awarded to Tulku Tenzin Delek, a lama from Tibet. I gladly signed the protest petition, though I know it won't make any difference.

I'm ashamed that my country didn't help out the Tibetans in their hour of need in the 1950s. India cowardly towed the Chinese line on Tibet and was suitably rewarded by the Chinese who invaded us in 1963. This abject surrended isn't surprising considering we are a soft state who cannot even help our own citizens - the Kashmiri Pandits - who are refugees in their own land!
