Down with Kannada chauvinists
Dr. Rajkumar has expressed a desire to make any sacrifice necessary for the cause of the Kannada film industry. He is even prepared to go to jail for this. Since he is such a senior person in the Kannada film industry and a respected figure in the state, I see no reason to delay granting him his wish and putting his arse in jail!
This madness of trying to delay the release of non-Kannada films in Karnataka to "protect" the Kannada film industry must stop. Make better films than the trash films routinely churned out now and watch the people make a beeline for the theatres.
Agreed that non-Kannada films are also mostly crap nowadays, but their packaging is far superior and the technical sophistication is also superior. Since people want entertainment, give them what they want. Make better films. Simple.

Comments:
Correct; my opinions are always in the same line. "You want to do good for Kannada film industry? Make better films". No use producing crap and forcing people to see them. Because they won't.
Anyone will rather stay home, or play a sport, instead of wasting money on a horrible movie.
