Praveen Togadia of the VHP, otherwise prone to making idiotic comments, made a very valid point the other day. Would any government, whether central or state, have the balls to arrest the Shahi Imam on any Id day?

Why then the double standards with respect to the Shankaracharya? Why put him behind bars in a jail along with other common criminals? Like all other motherfucking politicians who are kept in guest houses and other comfortable places when arrested, can't the Shankaracharya be afforded common courtesies as befits his standing and following among millions?

Jaillalitha has screwed up big time here, but she's secure in the knowledge that she's in Tamil Nadu and there will be no adverse impact there.
