Noticed it yesterday. Winds have started blowing roughly from the north-east direction since a few days now. There was a brief two week lull before that. And before that the winds were blowing from the south-west. Looks like the south-west monsoon has ended and the north-east one is about to start.

Last year I noticed that the winds started blowing from the south-west around the middle of May and stopped around mid September. Then after a brief period of calm, the winds starting blowing from the north-east. Then around the first week of December there was calm again until the start of May this year.
